Soda Pie
5 sheets of dough
1 teacup of oil
1 tea glass of melted and cooled butter
FOR THE INSIDE:
1 kg spinach
2 onions
3 tablespoons of olive oil
1 cup white cheese
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
FOR THE ABOVE:
1 bottle of soda
2 egg yolks
1 tablespoon of yoghurt
Let's wash our spinach with plenty of water. Let's chop our onion and put it in our pot with 3 spoons of oil. When it turns slightly pink, add our spinach and fry it over high heat without letting it leave any water. Let's flavor it with our spices. When our spinach cools down, let's grate our white cheese into it and mix it. Let's spread the first dough on our greased tray. Let's mix our butter and oil and spread it on the first layer of our dough. Let's continue this process until we reach half of our dough. Then, let's spread our stuffing evenly all over our pastry. Let's oil the remaining phyllo sheets one by one and place them on top of each other on our tray. Let's slice our pastry with a knife, pour our soda on it and keep it in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours. Before putting it in the oven, let's spread our egg beaten with yoghurt on it. Let's cook it at 200 degrees until it turns golden brown.
